Enrichment

At Beal Sixth Form, we offer academic excellence as well as enrichment beyond the classroom:

• We offer a tailored programme of support to those who wish to apply to elite Russell Group universities including Oxford and Cambridge, as well as a dedicated team of specialists working with students who wish to pursue studies in Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science.
• Students can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s award scheme or study for the Extended Project Qualification.
• As part of the curriculum we offer a weekly PSE session where speakers from all walks of life inspire and motivate our students to reach beyond the confines of the classroom.
• LifeLessons, a discussion-based PSE programme, brings wellbeing and mental health conversations to life, provoking students to discuss sensitive issues in an open and educational way.
• A huge range of opportunities, updated daily, appear in our BSF Padlet, including links to programmes with universities, degree apprenticeships, national competitions, open days, events and challenges.
• We take part in the FirstGive initiative, giving our students the opportunity to do meaningful projects with the local community.
• Our personal development award encourages students to think more, give more and commit more to their wider community.
